The last time I tried to solve a riddle, the drunk and stoned innkeeper caused me to burp for an hour because I guessed incorrectly. One of my party members tried to solve the riddle, and we were granted access to the underground basement pharmacy.

Obviously, my stamina was too high. So I opted for the health potion as a reward.
