Now let's do some assumptive and very generous math because most fast food workers are not full time. $22 per hour, 40 hours per week, for 52 weeks pust a person at $45,760 gross per year.

The cheapest rent I found on was $1650/ month or $19,800/ year. That's 43% (of gross, not net) on housing alone.

This math needs to be part of any such discussion of how the poor widdle corporations are suffering because it demonstrates that they are cutting their employees to the bone, even with increased pay.
